Type-C data line cross-evaluation. What does it need to be a good data cable? 

The Type-C interface tends to become the ruler of mobile phone interfaces in the next era. More and more manufacturers are beginning to use the Type-C interface to further cater to the consumer market. Type-C data cables are also more convenient for everyday use. However, the current data cable market is quite messed up, so what should we pay attention to when purchasing the Type-C data cable? Today, a cross-evaluation is carried out for the Type-C data cables, and three representative data cables are selected: the Bull Type-C braided data cable, the Xiaomi Type-C original data cable, and the Pinsheng Type-C fast charge data cable.

Both the original data cable of Xiaomi and the product data cable of Pinsheng have only applied conventional anti-corrosion and anti-rust treatment on the interface. Although it can have anti-corrosion effect for a short period of time, after long time usage, with the increase in usage times, the special treatment layer Will peel off, the exposed tinplate will still produce rust problems. 
But the Bull Type-C braided data cable abandoned the tinplate coating solution, it directly used the 304 stainless steel, and the corrosion resistance ability directly grow. 

3. Workmanship: The details are the bright parts. Not only do you have to see if the data cable is beautiful enough, but you also need to see from the details whether the manufacturer is careful about the product. The POWER-Z was used to test the charging performance of the data cables. 
In the charging performance competition, the Bull Type-C braided data cable is superior to the other two data cables in terms of stability and transmission power. To compare charging capacity statistics, we used three data cables to charge the Xiaomi 6 for ten minutes each. Through the Xiaomi Type-C original data cable only charged in 393mAh, the result is not bad. the Pinson Type-C data cable charged in 379mAh, the lowest of the three data cables. The Bull Type-C data cable charged in 428mAh to Xiaomi 6, having the strongest charging capability among the three data cables. 

2. Data transmission stability comparison 

We used the common hard disk detection software HD Tune to detect the stability of data transmission of three data cables by connecting the data cables of three brands to the reader respectively to read the external memory.

The first test is the card reader test without the connection of the wire, the waveform is still stable, the reader performance is a bit weak, the reading speed is about 27.5-30MB / s. 
In the reading experiment, there is basically no difference between the waveform of the Bull Type-C weave number and that of the non-connected, and the transmission speed is also about 27.5-30MB/s. 
The Pinsheng the Type-C data cable and the Xiaomi Type-C original data cable performs similar. Although at the most of the time the speed is about 27.5-30MB/s, the fluctuation range is relatively large, the speed is occasionally lower than 25MB/s. (This experiment is limited by the performance of the reader, the transmission speed is lower than the maximum speed of the three data cables. This experiment only tests the data transmission stability of the data cable.) 
What is it when it comes to the specific data transmission speed? It takes 1 minute and 13 seconds to transmit a 2.1GB movie using the Pinsheng data cable. It takes 1 minute and 10 seconds when use the original data cable of Xiaomi, and the Bull Type-C braided data cable takes only 1 minute and 4 seconds. From the above experiments, it can be seen that in terms of stability and transmission speed, the performance of the Bull Type-C braided data cable is superior to the other two data cables among the three data cables. Points-add item: wire characteristics The difference in wire material can be found when the wire is disassembled.

The original data cable of Xiaomi on the left has a shielding layer, which is quite satisfactory. In the middle, the Pinsheng data cable does not even have a shielding layer. The Bull's Type-C braided data cable on the right is the most complete one, not only does it have a shielding layer, but it also has a flame retardant layer, the ground wire, and the tensile nylon. This is such a luxurious configuration. As for the dismantling of the wire, it is not difficult to find out why the three data cables have different charging performance and data transmission performance. You have to use solid material in order to have better performance.

We also carried out a burning experiment on the flame-retardant layer disassembled from the Bull Type-C braided data cable. We found that the flame-retardant layer was not ignited and burned (after being ignited, it was immediately extinguished after left from the fire source). Although things like burning and igniting of data cable are not common, it has relevant news reports. The better the material, the better the performance. The rankings of the materials and performance of the three data cables are consistent, from low to high: the Pinsheng Type-C data cable is the lowest, the Xiaomi data cable is moderate, and the best material and performance goes to the Bull Type-C braided data cable. 
When we purchase the data cable, a good appearance of the cable is definitely important. But if it has a strong function at the same time, then it is of course our best choice. In the competition of these three data cables, the Bull's Type-C braided data cable not only shows a good appearance, but also shows its own powerful strength. In comparison, it is the top choice among the three data cables.
